Arturo Coello injured: Coello and Agustín Tapia drop for the Danish Open
Unexpected setback for the couple of the moment, Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia are out for the Cupra Danish Open WPT 2023 circuit.
Arturo Coello has announced on his social networks that he will not be able to participate in the 2023 Danish Open due to a muscle overload injury. Coello and his partner Agustín Tapia, who recently became the number one couple on the World Padel Tour, were going to debut as ranking leaders in this tournament, but unfortunately they will not be able to defend their position in Denmark. This absence will cost them first place in the ranking and will allow Juan Lebrón and Alejandro Galán to regain leadership as soon as they play the round of 16 match.
The success that this couple has had on the World Padel Tour so far is undeniable. They have won all the tournaments played this season, showing an exceptional level of play. In addition, their victory at the Vigo Open made them the youngest couple to reach the top ranking on this professional circuit.
Although this injury will momentarily cost them leadership in the ranking, we are confident that Arturo Coello will recover quickly and return to compete at his highest level alongside Agustín in future tournaments. We are sure that they will continue to leave their mark on the professional circuits.
